My name is David Ker. I’m doing research on the language development situation in Southern Africa especially as it relates to the languages of ten countries in Southern Africa. As a member of Wycliffe USA, my interests arise out of a concern that everyone should be able to access the Bible in their own language and in a format they can use and afford. But underlying any hope of “God’s Word accessible” is a foundational concern for sustainable language development in mother-tongue languages.
